This post is a tribute to the world's largest rail network in the world - Indian Railways which has been into service since the nineteenth century and even though it has crossed 150 years it still continues with the same strength and vigor with which it was started by the Britishers.
Since a modest beginning in ferrying goods to Roorkee it has come a long way and it covers the whole of India serving the needs of more than 1.6 billion passengers.
Though it doesn't match the international standards but the manner in which it is progressing the day is not far off when it will be giving competition to the best in the world. All the best Indian Railway !!
